The nose offers up blackberry and liquorice aromas and a hint of lush black cherry. Tart cherry fruit, floral and dried herb notes are supported by bright acidity and elegant tannins on the palate. The wine is framed by characteristic acidity from the Barbera grape. Pair with grilled steak, tomato-based pasta dishes, hard full-flavoured cheeses.
