Rounded and structured with more mature tannins than its younger brother (our house Bordeaux) this wine forgoes Cabernet Franc, and is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The Merlot gives richness, lifted by acidity and spicy layers characteristic of Cabernet Sauvignon. Pair with rich stews or indulgent cheeses.
